"céu de pedra em flecha" is a single photograph from 2019. It is based on the Proto-Indo-European mythological figure Perkwunos, a weather deity associated with the sky and called upon in times of drought. Bearing a weapon described as stone-made, this figure is known as the Striker in their association with thunder. My work deals with spirituality and mythmaking in an environment that embraces storytelling as a sacred art. In that sense, Perkwunos is mentioned by personifying my experience with the moment I captured the image, weaving meaning in my life.
